Snow Leopard is Another Win For Apple!

Throughout history, updating OS's has become a tedious task that would take hours to complete, and for what? A slower, bloated computer that just looks better? Snow leopard has fixed this age-old problem.

To start, leopard was a great OS. Apple could have stayed with this and been fine. But they saw some things that could've been improved and they pounced on it (pun intended). THe first thing you notice when you first start Snow Leopard is the speed. Web pages pop open, with help from Safari 4 and 64-bit computing. Applications open as soon as you click, you have to remind yourself that your using the same computer you had before.
The next thing you notice is the style refinements, exposé has been completely remade, for the better. Switching between windows could never have been easier! Of course it was like that before but now it has been perfected! Another new style enhancement is the dock. It is now integrated with exposé so you can just click and hold an icon on the dock and instantly, only those windows are shown.
One of my favorite new features is Quicktime X. It allows you to easily record your screen. Which is great because I have always been looking for a great screen recorder and could never find the right one for the right price, now I have. QuickTime X also takes advantage of Mac OS X's Core Animation Technology, ensuring unsurpassed speed and playback.

Snow Leopard is the OS for people with disabilities. With features like: trackpad screen (for the blind), braille support, enhanced VoiceOver, faster and easier keyboard navigation, auto webspots, custom VoiceOver labels, more customization options, and the all new VoiceOver Quick Start tutorial. Just another way Snow Leopard is the perfect OS for everyone.

Finally, most of us can relate to this, we use our Mac at home, but at work, we are not so fortunate. That's no problem anymore. Now, all Macs running Snow Leopard come with Microsoft Exchange. Quoting Apple, "Now every day is 'bring your Mac to work' day."

Snow leopard is $29.00 (£17.83) if you have Leopard and is on sale right now.
