Battery apps are taking over the app store! For better or worse?

Today, I was looking through the iTunes App Store for some good utility apps. The 'Top Free' and 'Top Paid' sections had the same old stuff so I decided to check the 'Most Recent' section. Wow. Its like Apple suddenly decided that power management is a top priority. Here is what I saw:

Level 01
All Power Pro $1.99

BLUE WIND
Battery LED! FREE

BLUE WIND
Batter LED Pro $0.99

IntegraSoftHN - Carlos E. HernĂ¡nd...
Battery Stats 1.0 $0.99

Vignesh Badrinarayanan
BatteryWizard $0.99

All of which, yes, are battery apps. What's next? Well, I predict Apple will respond to this in a new firmware by lowering app restrictions even more and allowing things like: To-the-percent battery apps, status bar utilities, and springboard apps.
